Exercice 1
Non commencéFacile
Soient f(x)=x2 et g(x)=3x−1.
1.
Calculer (f∘g)(x).
On applique d'abord $g$ puis $f$ :
$(f \circ g)(x) = f(g(x)) = f(3x-1) = (3x-1)^2$
En développant : $(3x-1)^2 = 9x^2 - 6x + 1$.
$\boxed{(f \circ g)(x) = (3x-1)^2 = 9x^2 - 6x + 1}$
2.
Calculer (g∘f)(x).
On applique d'abord $f$ puis $g$ :
$(g \circ f)(x) = g(f(x)) = g(x^2) = 3x^2 - 1$
$\boxed{(g \circ f)(x) = 3x^2 - 1}$
3.
Vérifier que f∘g=g∘f.
$(f \circ g)(x) = 9x^2 - 6x + 1$ et $(g \circ f)(x) = 3x^2 - 1$.
Pour $x = 1$ : $(f \circ g)(1) = 9 - 6 + 1 = 4$ et $(g \circ f)(1) = 3 - 1 = 2$.
Comme $4 \neq 2$, on a bien $\boxed{f \circ g \neq g \circ f}$.
